The Surry SPCA meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm in the town of Surry at the Surry Fire Department.

Membership and Volunteer Opportunities
Our annual dues for membership are: Single-$15; Family-$20; Junior-$1; Patron-$50; Business $25; Benefactor-$100.

We invite you to join us and contribute your talents in any area of special interest. We work to teach respect and kindness to all living creatures. We do not operate a shelter. We are an organization raising money to provide education, support for foster care and adoption of homeless animals and we contribute to the cost of spay/neuter services to help reduce the pet over-population problem. We need your creative energies in the following areas: fundraising, grant writing, developing educational programs for the school systems, providing foster care or assisting in our spay neuter program.

Contributions and In Memory Of...
The Surry County SPCA is an IRS tax-exempt organization. Contributions are deductible as a charitable gift on your tax return. We also receive funds in memory of people and their companion pets. Remember we can also be part of your will and estate planning. Help prevent over 260 Surry dogs and cats being put to death every year!

Animal Friendly License Plates
The County passes to us a portion of money collected by the state from county residents who remember to purchase and renew Virginia “Animal Friendly” license plates.
